This is our new things post. We have a new website, a new EP, a new album that we are almost finished recording, and it all feels very good. We have a ton of videos that we will be posting soon from our recording adventures as well as pictures and stories. We hope that you will all continue to check back often for all the newest new things.
I will leave you with this:
As a band, we all live in the same county, but that still spreads out over about 50 miles between Jeremy & Jacob, with the rest of us somewhere in between. We’re lucky enough to have two really great practice spots. When we’re all together in the North County, we practice at Jeremy’s house. He built a music room with his bare hands, and he has the best, most relaxing property you could imagine. We like to think of it as our bands home. It’s kind of the natural thing for us to all end up there, drinking a few beers, and working out the new songs.
When we are down south, we meet up at Jacob’s place. It’s nestled snugly in the garage, and just feels great. We’ve been working on the last 5 or 6 songs, arranging, rearranging…..cutting out a bridge here or adding a pre chorus there….really just spending time on everything and having fun, making every song exactly how we want.
We finished drums for the top half of our album and so it was time to track bass. We spent the last 2 nights at our home studio in my parents backyard tracking Jeremy. We got some great sounds with Jeremy’s Ampeg rig and an amazing bass rig from Jaguar Amps. Now, on to guitars!
